Our wound dressing fixation products for IV and wound patients prevent the displacement of tubes and dressings. Furthermore, we have designed the Carefix range to protect sensitive skin and make adhesive bandages unnecessary.
There are products for wound dressing fixation on finger, toe, head, arm and leg –and a tube for IV fixation, suitable for hand/arm and foot. Each product is carefully designed to fit the specific body part and hence the products will always stay in place and feel comfortable to wear for the patient.
The wound dressing and IV fixation products are in a flexible, breathable, comfortable and soft material - pre-cut and ready to use, saving time and avoiding needless waste.

TUBES: TIME-SAVING AND COST-EFFICIENT SOLUTION
The Carefix tubes are applied to the hand or foot to fixate and protect IV tubes and dressings and to reduce dressing change frequency. The benefits of using the tubes are that they offer improved fixation and protection of IV tubes and dressings to make the dressing stay in place with no displacement.
When the IV tube and dressing are fixated securely it helps reduce the frequency of dressing change and hence reduce complication risks and saves costs for IV and dressing procedures. Due to the precut design the tubes are quick and easy to apply, which is ideal in emergency rooms and hospital units where optimisation of time is critical. Moreover, the bandages are also time-saving for caregivers. The Carefix fixations have also been designed to hold bandages or surgical dressings in place without tape.

That is why we base all our sizes on three parametres; statistical body knowledge, comfort stretch measurements and extensive knowledge and experience with the combination of knitting methods in different materials. The combination of these 3 parameters defines our size defintion, ensuring perfect fit at all times.
USAGE AFTER TREATMENT OF INJURY
The fixation can be worn alone or can be used to hold surgical dressings in place without tape. The Carefix dressings provides extra security to the wound. Safe fixation of dressings reduces the risk of dirt in the wound, which again reduces the risk of infection, while reminding the patient of the injured body part.
